The JPMO’s goal is to plan, synchronize, and provide program and construction management services to ensure construction projects achieve goals and meet deadlines. The JPMO also provides staffing support to various USINDOPACOM ventures such as Joint Region Marianas, NACFAC Pacific, USACE Pacific Ocean Division, and the USINDOPACOM staff.
MacDonald-Bedford provided a Project Coordinator and Site investigation Services which involved master and facilities planning consultation. The Project Coordinator prepared, updated, and validated Facility Requirements Plans, reviewed project documents, formulated project proposals and land use plans, and assisted in the development and review of Joint Area Development Plans to identify sites for future facilities or facilities to reuse. MacDonald-Bedford’s initial mission was to conduct feasibility studies of targeted potential sites for multi-nation joint service facilities that incorporated in one location training ranges as well as air and marine port facilities. Site investigation was supported with a Geospatial Information System (GIS) Specialist who collected data, optimized and managed databases, integrated GIS, developed geospatial tools, and provided key GIS services such as spatial data capture, GIS mapping, and systems integration. The GIS specialist also gathered and analyzed data, reviewed contractor and Architect/Engineer (A/E) GIS deliverables to ensure compliance. The specialist served as the Government’s liaison to the architects, planners, and project managers on site.
