M-B provided support to the 125th Fighter Wing's Civil Engineer Squadron (CES) led by the Base Civil Engineer (BCE) by providing full-time engineering and construction management service to the Florida Air National Guard (FANG) statewide. Within this task order, M-B provided full-time consultants/subject matter expertise by providing a licensed engineer who served as the BCE's Base Engineer and a CADD technology expert. The team worked with other staff project managers/inspectors to support maintenance, design, and construction projects on the Wing's installations at Jacksonville International Airport, MacDill Air Force Base, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Camp Blanding Joint Reserve Training Base and Homestead Air Reserve Base, all in Florida.
The team reorganized all the squadron's electronic files for document control; updated utility base maps and other required plans; prepared designs and project packages for minor maintenance or renovation projects; coordinated with local contractors for equipment or controls system repairs; worked with base contracting to prepare acquisition packages for minor construction projects; and coordinated major project requirements with the Jacksonville Airport Authority and the Federal Aviation Administration.
M-B's duties included quality assurance of drawings and specification packages submitted by design firms for compliance with National Guard Bureau (NGB) acceptance criteria, standards and the project programs for both military construction (MILCON) and major Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (SRM) projects. The M-B consultants became the 'go-to' team.
