“Harlem Hellfighters” Fifth Avenue Armory, New York Army National Guard
For this MILCON project, M-B managed and oversaw the major rehab and historic preservation renovation of the historic Fifth Avenue Armory, a 115,000SF facility built in 1933 in Harlem.
Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC), Pacific, Guam Program Management Services-Forward (GPMO-F), Guam
As the managing partner of the MacDonald-Bedford | MBP JV and holding a $98M, five-year IDIQ for Post Construction Award Services, MacDonald-Bedford stood up in Guam, a Forward Office on behalf of NAVFAC Pacific’s Guam Program Management Office in order to facilitate construction management services in the creation of Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz (MCBCB) , the first since 1952.
Federal Transit Administration’s Program Management Oversight (PMO) of the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA) - Purple Line Extension
The Purple Line Extension, formerly known as the Westside Subway Extension and the Subway to the Sea, is a new heavy rail subway corridor in Los Angeles County, extending the Metro Purple Line from its current terminus at Wilshire/Western station in Los Angeles to the Westside region.
Federal Transit Administration’s Program Management Oversight (PMO) of the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) - East Side Access
MacDonald-Bedford provided Cost Engineer consulting services and Project Controls on the Federal Transit Administration’s Program Management Oversight contract for the East Side Program ($10.9B) of the MTACC, on behalf of the prime consultant, Urban Engineers.
